Jay Allen, the sideline reporter for Oregon Ducks Radio, was at the game last night and joined us on the show to talk about the postgame incident involving LeGarrette Blount.

Allen talked about the suspension of Blount for the remainder of the season and whether he thought it was appropriate, saying, “My question would be if you don’t think somebody deserves to get kicked off a team for this, I mean what do you gotta do to get kicked off of a football team? I think the University’s response was right on the money.”

Allen has personally interviewed Blount on numerous occasions and had fairly favorable things to say about his encounters with Blount, saying, “I’ve interviewed LeGarrette a bunch of times in his couple seasons at Oregon. He’s always been a pleasant young man to deal with–Always seem mild mannered to me whenever I interacted with him.”
