The Seahawks list left tackle Bradley Sowell and tight end Luke Willson as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Patriots.
Both players are coming off knee injuries. Willson’s required arthroscopic surgery and has sidelined him for the last three games while Sowell has missed the last two after spraining his MCL. Rookie George Fant has started in Sowell’s absence and would presumably do so again if he can’t play Sunday night.
O’Neil: Seahawks in unfamiliar position as underdogs vs Patriots
The Seahawks will head to New England about as healthy as they’ve been in a while. Defensive end Michael Bennett and running back Thomas Rawls are the only two players the team has ruled out. Seattle’s final injury report of the week only lists five players in all.
Strong safety Kam Chancellor isn’t one of them, which means he’s still expected to play Sunday night after missing the last four games with a groin injury (in the past, Chancellor would have been listed as probable, but the NFL did away with that designation on its injury reports beginning this year).
Out
