RENTON – Already playing through sprains in his ankle and knee, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is now dealing with a third injury, this one to his right pectoral. The severity is unknown since the injury was revealed on the team’s Wednesday practice report – which came out after coach Pete Carroll spoke with the media – but it was enough to limit Wilson’s participation.

And it marks the first since since Wilson entered the league in 2012 that he’s been listed as anything other than a full participant in practice, even during the first half of this season as he’s been playing with injuries on each leg.

Wilson was only sacked once despite being under constant pressure Sunday night against Arizona. On that sack, Cardinals pass-rusher Chandler Jones hit Wilson’s right arm from behind as he was in his windup, forcing a fumble. Wilson moved his arm around when he got up from that hit.

He’s scheduled to speak with the media Thursday.

The rest of Wednesday’s injury report is more evidence of the physical toll that Sunday night’s overtime game took on the Seahawks. It lists 10 players as not practicing on Wednesday, six of whom played Sunday night.

Carroll said Monday that the workloads of some players would be dialed back this week to account for Seattle’s defense having been on the field for a whopping 95 plays against the Cardinals, not counting what some played in addition to that on special teams. That appears to be the case with cornerback Richard Sherman and linebacker Bobby Wagner, whose absences in Wednesday’s practice are listed as not injury-related. Wagner needed an IV Sunday night while Sherman was in bad shape afterward, requiring medical attention in the locker room.

Others who played Sunday night and didn’t practice Wednesday are left tackle Bradley Sowell (knee), defensive end Michael Bennett (knee), tight end Jimmy Graham (knee) and cornerback DeAndre Elliott (hamstring). Carroll said Wednesday that Sowell is feeling remarkably well despite spraining his MCL Sunday night and that Graham made it out of the game OK.

Also not practicing Wednesday were strong safety Kam Chancellor and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis. Chancellor has missed the last two games with a pulled groin while Pierre-Louis missed Sunday night’s game with a sprained ankle. Carroll said Wednesday that both have a chance to return this week but didn’t offer any assurance that they would.

In addition to Wilson, wide receiver Tyler Lockett is also listed as a limited participant due to a thigh injury. He has previously been dealing with a knee injury that has limited his production, playing time and availability in practice.

• RB Thomas Rawls (fibula)
• TE Luke Willson (knee)
• LT Bradley Sowell (knee)
• TE Jimmy Graham (knee)

• LB Kevin Pierre-Louis (ankle)
• CB Richard Sherman (not injury-related)
• LB Bobby Wagner (not injury-related)
• CB DeAndre Elliott (hamstring)
