In this week’s episode of Sound Stories, I talked to Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei, who joined the Sounders in 2014 after four years with Toronto FC.
Frei talked to me about the competitiveness of MLS, how the media and fan culture in Seattle is different from how it was in Toronto, and his first memories of soccer in Seattle. Originally from Austria before immigrating to California when he was 15, Frei has some unique angles on American soccer that I found particularly interesting.
