Washington junior guard Isaiah Thomas is on the regional cover of Sports Illustrated’s college basketball preview for the second year in a row.

The issue hits news stands on Wednesday.

According to the university’s athletic department, this marks the third time a player has been on the cover of SI’s college basketball preview in consecutive seasons. Georgetown’s Roy Hibbert (2006-2007) and Michigan State’s Kalin Lucas (2009-2010) are the two others.

The magazine ranks Washington 15th in the nation, the same spot they hold in the coaches poll. The Huskies are No. 17 in the AP rankings.
