Washington junior guard Isaiah Thomas has been named the Pac-10’s Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Thomas averaged 20.5 points, nine assists, six rebounds and two steals in the Huskies’ home wins over Arizona and Arizona State last week. He moved up to 13th on the school’s all-time scoring list, passing Nate Robinson, Brandon Roy and Donald Watts.
Thomas won the award earlier this month after Washington swept the Oregon schools.
Washington (15-4 overall, 7-1 Pac-10) moved up two spots to No. 18 in the AP rankings and three spots to No. 17 in the coaches’ rankings.
