Peers say Romar is underrated as a recruiter

With the college basketball early recruiting period underway and recruits now able to sign Letters of Intent, an interesting survey has been published on cbssports.com.

College coaches were surveyed on various topics regarding recruiting and UW head coach Lorenzo Romar was voted by his peers as the most underrated recruiter. Again, this comes from coaches, some who follow Romar into the living rooms of kids they also have interest in.

While the recognitions is nice and no doubt well earned the Huskies are not expected to make a splash in early recruiting this year. While this can change due to early exit, transfers etc., Romar as of today has just two scholarships available and those signings will most likely come in the spring.
