If you ever attended a game at the University of Washington, you probably saw the smiling face of George Hickman.
The popular usher, and Seahawks game day staff member passed away yesterday in Seattle. Mr. Hickman was 87.

I just saw George at a Seahawks training camp practice in Renton last week, and he was in his usual great spirits.
He had a remarkable life, and along with other Tuskegee Airmen, finally got his due.

Here is an article I wrote about George Hickman last November when he had the honor of raising the Seahawks 12th man flag at CenturyLink Field.
