Video: Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready plays national anthem before Mariners game

Pearl Jam guitarist and Seattle native Mike McCready played the national anthem before the Mariners game Friday as part of Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America Night at Safeco Field.

Check out the performance in the video above.

Before that, McCready told “Danny, Dave and Moore” about his work with CCFA and how it’s important to him as someone with Crohn’s disease. They also talked music as McCready shared the story of how Pearl Jam got its name and talked about how the band has stayed together for so long.
