Pac-12 media poll – guess where the Cougs landed?

Jul 26, 2011, 5:04 PM | Updated: 5:06 pm

You’ve been dying to see it, I know, and the wait is finally over.

The first ever Pac-12 media poll is out and where were the Cougs picked?

Wait for it…

Dead last. Again.

Okay, so you knew that was coming. Sadly, there’s not a single person anywhere in the western world that’s surprised by this. That’s the state of affairs in Pullman these days. At least Colorado got less points in the South than WSU did in the North. So that means at least a couple of writers see the Cougs as not being as bad in our division as they see Colorado being in theirs.

Chalk that up as this season’s very first moral victory.

Here’s the entire poll:

1. Oregon (29) 239

2. Stanford (13) 220

3. Washington 142

4. Oregon State 120

5. Cal 110

6. Washington State 51

1. USC (24) 230

2. Arizona State (13) 207

3. Utah (4) 170

4. Arizona (1) 140

5. UCLA 89

6. Colorado 46

Title game winner: Oregon (28 votes), followed by Stanford (11) and ASU (3)

Go Cougs!
