Pac 12 “predictions”

Getting everything right all time gets old, but not too old to “predict” again this week. Here we go…all the right answers, all the time:
Friday’s game is up first:
USC @ Colorado – 6:00pm
USC is coming off a loss to Stanford in the best game of the Pac-12 season so far and Colorado is coming off yet another embarrassing pasting, this time at the hands of ASU. The Buff’s terrible offense, coupled with their terrible defense can only mean one thing:
Trojans 44, Buffs 17
#4 Stanford @ Oregon State – 12:30pm
OSU played their best game of the year two weeks ago against the Cougs and then were handled by Utah last weekend. This week, the competition gets about 1000-times tougher. The late-season Mike Riley surge will have to wait another week to take place.
Trees 49, Beavs 22
Utah @ Arizona – 4:00pm
Arizona’s one-game resurgence against UCLA a couple of weeks ago is all but forgotten, and the idea that a mid-season coaching change will solve all their ills will be dismissed after Saturday’s tilt against the UUUtes. And Arizona, we called dibs on Mike Leach.
Utah 31, Arizona 28
#19 ASU @ UCLA – 7:30pm
This week’s upset will happen in Pasadena. Why? Because I just know. Stop asking questions and trust me. I’m always right. Dennis Erickson has one big meltdown coming and this week is it.
Bruins 28, ASU 26
#8 Oregon @ Washington – 7:30pm
It’s an emotional game for the huskies as they welcome their “other” rival Oregon in to husky stadium for its last game before the renovation of their track stadium. Unfortunately, emotion is one thing, but terrible defense is another.
Oregon 51, Dubyas 31
And finally, the game of the week…
WSU @ Cal – 3:30pm
It’ll be Cal’s defense that will be highlighted against WSU on Saturday, as their offense has been nothing to speak about recently. Cal will try their best not to turn the ball over to a Cougar D who, despite giving up a lot of points against Oregon, played their best game of the season last Saturday. The Cougs, in the midst of yet another long losing streak, know that all is on the line in this game and will play recklessly (in a good way).
If Marshall Lobbestael plays a solid game and the Cougs can actually score when in the redzone , they should be able to take this game down to the wire.
I see the Cougs playing with some fire and taking the win in the almost neutral field of AT&T Park.
Go Cougs 28, Bears 21
Go Cougs!
