Cornerback Marcus Burley is another player who likely won’t play for the Seahawks in tonight’s third preseason game against Dallas.
NFL teams aren’t required to declare inactive players for preseason games, but the Seahawks distributed an unofficial list of those not expected to play. Burley was the only notable player on that list who wasn’t mentioned yesterday by coach Pete Carroll when naming those who would be out for tonight’s game.
The others on that list: wide receiver Kasen Williams; running back Thomas Rawls; cornerback Trovon Reed; tight ends Nick Vannett and Jimmy Graham; and defensive tackles Jarran Reed, DeAngelo Tyson and Sealver Siliga.
That means these Seahawks are expected to make their preseason debuts tonight: strong safety Kam Chancellor; running back C.J. Prosise; defensive tackle Jordan Hill; wide receiver Kevin Smith; fullback Will Tukuafu; and right tackle J’Marcus Webb.
