Captain Dwayne De Rosario had a goal and an assist and O’Brian White also scored to give Toronto FC a 2-0 win over the Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday.
In the 58th minute, De Rosario cut through the mud and the cold and the rain in the second half, going through a pair of defenders to send a game-winning shot and extend his remarkable start to the Major League Soccer season.
De Rosario has scored five times over his first five games this season. He also added an assist on White’s goal in the 76th minute.
