BROCK AND SALK
Podcast: Apple Cup preview with CFB analysts Michael Bumpus, Brock Huard

We’re lucky at Seattle Sports 710 AM to have not just one but two daily hosts who spend their weekends as college football analysts, and that sure makes for a lot of fun when it’s Apple Cup week.
UW Huskies coach Kalen DeBoer talks new contract, first Apple Cup and more
Those two insiders – Brock Huard (FOX color commentator, co-host of Brock and Salk) and Michael Bumpus (Pac-12 Network analyst, co-host of Bump and Stacy) – also happen to fall on opposite sides of the rivalry. Huard was the starting quarterback for the UW Huskies from 1996-98, while Bumpus starred for the WSU Cougars from 2004-07. So it only made sense to get the two together for a segment to preview the big 7:30 p.m. Saturday night battle in Pullman.
Bump joined Huard and guest co-host Mike Lefko this week on Brock and Salk to talk all about the matchup between the Cougs and No. 12 Dawgs, and talk a little trash, too.
You can listen to the full conversation in the player below. And for more in-depth coverage from Bump and Brock on the Apple Cup, click any of the links at the bottom of this post.
You can listen to the WSU radio broadcast of the Apple Cup with play-by-play announcer Matt Chazanow, color commentator Alex Brink and sideline reporter Jessamyn McIntyre on Seattle Sports beginning with the pregame show at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
