It’s Apple Cup week in the state of Washington and this year’s figures to be another fun chapter in the rivalry between bitter rivals UW and WSU.
For the Huskies, they enter the matchup on a five-game winning streak and ranked 12th in the country as they have a 9-2 record.
For the Cougars, they enter the game in a different spot than usual as they snapped a seven-game losing streak to Washington last year with a 40-13 blowout win in Seattle.
So what’s going to happen this year? Well, as Seattle Sports 710 AM dives into the annual rivalry game this week, we’re taking a close look at the matchups and what to watch for for both teams.
In his latest video for Seattle Sports’ YouTube page, legendary WSU receiver Michael Bumpus was asked a number of Cougs-centric Apple Cup questions by SeattleSports.com’s Brandon Gustafson, from matchups that favor the Cougs to what the atmosphere is like at Martin Stadium for the Apple Cup as well as his prediction for the game.
