Sounders fans attending Saturday’s match against the Vancouver Whitecaps will see volunteers collecting donations at CenturyLink Field gates for victims of the wildfire near Cle Elum.
The money benefits American Red Cross Disaster Relief, which allows teams to prepare shelter, food, and support for those displaced by the Taylor Bridge Fire.
Fans can make a gift online at www.seattleredcross.org or by sending a contribution to American Red Cross, PO Box 3097, Seattle, WA 98114-3097.
The wildfire has already forced 1,000 people to evacuate and has destroyed almost 70 homes and hundreds of buildings.
The match starts at 1:00 p.m.
