Seahawks Breakdown: Geno Smith, OC Shane Waldron’s chemistry

Sep 15, 2022, 1:20 PM

There was a lot to like from the Seahawks’ Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos, and even though the final score from Lumen Field was just 17-16, that includes on offense.

Huard: What Geno Smith can and can’t carry over from Week 1

Michael Bumpus, a former NFL receiver who now is host of both Seattle Sports 710 AM’s Bump and Stacy and the Seahawks Radio Network pregame and postgame shows, was a fan of what he saw from the duo of new starting quarterback Geno Smith and second-year offensive coordinator Shane Waldron in that victory over the Broncos.

In Bump’s latest breakdown video from Bump for Seattle Sports’ YouTube channel, he shares what about the gameplan from the Hawks’ offense he liked from the Broncos game. Watch it at the top of this post or at this link.

The 1-0 Seahawks continue play in Week 2 on Sunday afternoon when they hit the road to face their rivals in the NFC West, the 0-1 San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m., with Bump on the pregame starting at 10 a.m. on Seattle Sports, KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM, and the rest of the Seahawks Radio Network.
