Lineups: Taijuan Walker returns from DL for Mariners-Angels

Taijuan Walker (right foot tendinitis) has been activated from the 15-day disabled list and will start Saturday night in Game 2 of the Mariners’ series with the Angels.
Walker is 4-7 with a 3.66 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 80 strikeouts and 18 walks in 16 starts (86 innings) this season. The 23-year-old right-hander was bothered by the tendinitis in each of his last four starts, beginning with a 3 1/3 innings outing on June 14 in Tampa Bay.
Mariners make 2 trades, acquire switch pitcher Pat Venditte
Walker and the Mariners will take on Angels starter Tyler Skaggs in the 6:40 game on 710 ESPN Seattle. The Mariners will also be honoring Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. before the game with a number retirement ceremony, which will start at 5:30.
