First Look: Seattle Mariners unveil 2023 All-Star Game logo

With the 2022 All-Star Break officially wrapped up and in the books, the Seattle Mariners have plenty to look forward to.
Morosi: Mariners’ Servais as ‘capable and effective’ a manager as there is in MLB
Not only did they enter Friday’s contest with the Houston Astros on a 14-game winning streak, but the franchise can now look ahead to next summer when the city of Seattle hosts the 2023 MLB All-Star Game, which will be the 93rd MLB All-Star Game.
That look ahead to next summer kicked off in a big way on Friday as Mike Cameron and Bret Boone – key parts of the Mariners’ 116-win season in 2001 and both of whom were All-Stars that year – helped unveil the 2023 All-Star Game Logo.

Naturally, there’s the Space Needle, Mt. Rainier, part of the city’s skyline and some trees. Heck, there’s even that sun thing that comes out a few months out of the year up here.

“This logo is inspired by our fans, our community and our region,” Catie Griggs, Mariners President of Business Operations, said in a news release. “Now that we’ve unveiled the logo, the countdown is officially on! We can’t wait to host the next All-Star game in T-Mobile Park and show all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.”

The 2023 MLB All-Star Game will take place at T-Mobile Park in July, but a date has not yet been set. That also means that the Home Run Derby, Futures Game, Celebrity Softball Game and MLB Draft will be in Seattle next summer as well.
The Mariners have hosted two All-Star Games in the past, most recently 2001 at the fairly new Safeco Field and also back in 1979 in the Kingdome.
