The Seattle Seahawks have a pair of star defenders heading to the Pro Bowl as members of the NFC team, including one starter.

Linebacker Bobby Wagner, who leads the NFL with 158 combined tackles, and free safety Quandre Diggs, who is tied for fourth in the NFL with five inteceptions, made the cut as the full Pro Bowl rosters were released Wednesday evening. Diggs has been denoted a starter for the NFC.
Wagner, 31, is a Pro Bowler for the eighth consecutive season, while the 28-year-old Diggs receives the honor for the second straight season. Diggs has not played in a Pro Bowl, however, as the game was not held last season.
With his latest nomination, Wagner ties Russell Wilson for the second-most Pro Bowl selections in Seahawks history and is now just one short of Hall of Famer Walter Jones’ team record.
Diggs has been a stellar player for Seattle since his acquisition for a fifth-round pick in a trade with Detroit during the 2019 season. His 10 interceptions over the past two seasons is tied for the most in the NFL by a safety with Denver’s Justin Simmons, per Seahawks.com.
In addition to Wagner and Diggs, the Seahawks have four Pro Bowl alternates: special teamer Nick Bellore, punter Michael Dickson, left tackle Duane Brown and quarterback Russell Wilson.
The Pro Bowl is scheduled to be played on Feb. 6, 2022 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Click here to see the full NFC roster, and here for the full AFC roster.
