The 3-6 Seahawks will play their Week 11 game against Arizona without maybe their best defender against the pass. Luckily for Seattle, two of Arizona’s best weapons in the passing game will also be out.
What’s next for Seahawks RBs with Chris Carson out for season?
Starting Seahawks cornerback D.J. Reed is the most notable name on the team’s inactive list for the 1:25 p.m. game at Lumen Field between the two NFC West rivals, which is airing live on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97.3 FM. He was listed as questionable on Friday with both groin and knee injuries.
The division-leading Cardinals, meanwhile, will be without quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins both for the third straight week. Murray has an ankle injury and Hopkins has been dealing with a hamstring issue. Arizona has a bye next week, likely making it an easier call for the Cardinals to let them get as healthy as possible before potential returns in Week 13.
Backup QB Colt McCoy, who himself was questionable entering the weekend with a pectoral injury, will get the start for Arizona. He led the New York Giants to a win in Seattle in 2020.
Despite the Cardinals’ 8-2 record, they’re not in the greatest shape as they’re coming off a 34-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers (5-5) last week.
For the Seahawks, defensive end L.J. Collier (healthy scratch) and offensive tackle Jamarco Jones (back) are the other noteworthy names in addition to Reed on their inactive list. Strong safety Jamal Adams (groin), defensive lineman Kerry Hyder Jr. (calf) and linebacker Cody Barton (quadriceps) are all active despite being listed as questionable on Friday.
