Mike Carp was one of the Mariners’ position players to report to spring training early, joining the pitchers and catchers who began on Sunday.

Carp joined “Brock and Salk” on Monday from Peoria, Ariz. to talk about how he has transformed his body to facilitate a move to the outfield, his thoughts on Ichiro not leading off, how he’s honoring former teammate and friend Greg Halman, and more.
