ESPN’s John Clayton joined “Brock & Salk” on Thursday for a discussion on which players could be coming and going as NFL teams trim rosters from 80 to 53 this weekend.
Clayton thinks wide receiver Golden Tate, whose spot on the Seahawks’ roster had been in question due to shaky training camp, will make the team.
“I was kinda wondering about Golden Tate and now it’s pretty well cleared up that he’s going to make the team,” Clayton said. “That was one that I thought was going to be in question.”
Running back Justin Forsett was included in Brock and Salk’s discussion on Seahawks that are candidates to be cut, but Clayton thinks his spot on the roster is secured.
“I think he’s fine. I don’t think there was ever a question there,” Clayton said.
