Audio: Pete Carroll’s Monday press conference

Pete Carroll met with the media as he does each Monday for further discussion on the Seahawks’ 13-10 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. The press conference included the following topics:
-The play of safeties Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas, which Carroll lauded earlier on Monday during his appearance on “Brock and Salk”;
-The progress of rookie right tackle James Carpenter, who had struggled in the preseason and in the regular-season opener;
-How rookie linebacker K.J. Wright fared in his extensive playing time on Sunday and what it means for Aaron Curry, whose job starting job was opened for competition last week;
-Sidney Rice’s sterling regular-season debut and the need to get Mike Williams and Zach Miller move involved in the offense;
-The numerous plays made by defensive end Chris Clemons;
-The scrutiny quarterback Tarvaris Jackson has received from fans;
-Cornerback Brandon Browner’s play against Larry Fitzgerald and his upcoming matchup with Falcons receivers Roddy White and Julio Jones;
