Below is the official practice report from Wednesday and the latest injury updates from head coach Pete Carroll’s Wednesday press conference.

OUT

Guard Robert Gallery (groin): Gallery is expected to return following the bye week and has progressed post-surgery much more quickly than expected. “Robert Gallery is getting closer, he’s running,” Carroll said. “He won’t practice yet, but he’s really on the mend and is ahead of schedule as far as him coming back.”

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

Wide receiver Mike Williams (head – concussion): Williams has yet to clear the league-mandated concussion testing to allow him to return to full practice. Per Carroll, “He’s going through a real strict process that we go through with head injuries.”

Safety Kam Chancellor (quadriceps): Chancellor was expected to return to practice on Wednesday but was held over and additional day. Carroll is “hoping we get him back in a day.”

Tight end Zach Miller (knee): According to Carroll, Miller injured both his ankle and his knee during a play in Sunday’s game. “We think he’s going to be OK, but we’re going to give him a little bit of rest here today,” Carroll said.

Defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove (hamstring): According to Carroll, the team would be running Hargrove on Wednesday. Carroll said that Hargrove’s hamstring had bothered him during the game on Sunday.

Linebacker Malcolm Smith (hamstring)

LIMITED PARTICIATION

Cornerback Byron Maxwell (ankle): Maxwell was finally able to return to practice in a limited capacity.
