710 ESPN Seattle is expanding to 14 hours of local, weekday programming with the addition of “Gee Scott” from 7 to 9 p.m. As part of his new role, Scott will also host “Seahawks Weekly” during the football season, fill in on other shows and write regularly for 710Sports.com, where he’ll utilize his personal relationships with Seahawks players, coaches and staff.
“I’m looking forward to taking listeners behind the curtain to see what it’s really like in the player’s locker room,” Scott said in the station’s press release. “This new opportunity will allow Seattle sports fans to feel more connected to their favorite players than ever before.”

“Gee Scott” will debut the week of June 13. It will air when not preempted by Mariners games.
“This show will be a great complement to the rest of the 710 ESPN Seattle lineup,” program director Mike Salk said. “Gee has a special relationship with both listeners and players. He is so adept at bringing those two worlds together in a compelling way.”
Scott’s previous roles at 710 ESPN Seattle have included co-hosting “The Barbershop” and “Justin and Gee.” In addition to his work at the station, Scott has become a prominent motivational speaker, auctioneer and emcee.
