The Seahawks have re-signed linebacker and special teams ace Heath Farwell.
The team did not disclose terms of the deal, but ESPN’s John Clayton told “The Kevin Calabro Show” that it is for three years.
Farwell, 30, joined the Seahawks on Oct. 19 after he was released by the Vikings. He led the league with 21 coverage tackles in 11 games for the Seahawks. His blocked punt set up a go-ahead touchdown in Seattle’s Week 16 loss to the 49ers.
According to Clayton, the Seahawks did not tender offers to cornerback Roy Lewis or offensive lineman Mike Gibson. Both were restricted free agents.
