Seahawks aren’t the same without Marshawn Lynch

It was evident in a 6-3 loss to the Browns last season just how important Marshawn Lynch is to the Seahawks’ offense.
With Lynch unavailable due to back spasms, smaller running backs Leon Washington and Justin Forsett couldn’t duplicate the physical presence he brings to Seattle’s running game.
That was just one game.
Now that he’s been charged with driving under the influence stemming from his arrest over the weekend, Lynch could face a suspension that could sideline him for several weeks.
Former NFL head coach Jon Gruden thinks that would “make things very difficult” on the Seahawks’ offense.
“I can’t even imagine what the absence of Marshawn Lynch would do to the identity of the Seahawks’ — not only offense — but of their football team,” Gruden told “Brock and Salk” on Wednesday. “He’s the man that gave them a physical presence. He made you fear playing the Seahawks. He is one of the few irreplaceable Seattle Seahawks, in my opinion. They have to work this out. I hope it works out in their favor because this would be a tremendous loss for them.”
In Wednesday’s Wrap Up video, Brock Huard and Mike Salk explain why losing Lynch would be such a big blow.
