How Matt Flynn can respond to losing QB battle

The elbow injury that sidelined quarterback Matt Flynn during the Seahawks’ third preseason game is not serious, according to coach Pete Carroll, who told “Brock and Salk” that an MRI revealed only some inflammation.
That was the good news for Flynn. The bad news, of course, was Carroll’s decision to name Russell Wilson Seattle’s starting quarterback.
Brock Huard’s advice to Flynn: do everything possible to practice and play through what might be a painful injury, much like Tarvaris Jackson did last season.
