Lineups: Mariners-Reds game 3
May 22, 2016, 8:44 AM
The Mariners are looking for a series sweep Sunday in the finale of a six-game, two-city road trip.
Seattle’s eight consecutive undefeated road series is currently the second-longest in franchise history, trailing only a streak of 28 consecutive undefeated road series during the 2000-2001 Mariners seasons. Seattle previously swept the Reds on June 18-20, 2010 and June 18-20, 2002.
Leonys Martin, who has reached base safely in 15 of his last 16 games, will bat leadoff and Shawn O’Malley fills in at shortstop for Ketel Marte, who injured his thumb Saturday.
Lefty Wade Miley has posted a 2.62 ERA over his last five starts and has won his past four decisions.
First pitch at Great American Ballpark is 10:10 a.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle, with the pregame show at 9 a.m.
