Running back Marshawn Lynch is active for the Seahawks’ regular-season opener despite back spasms that have limited him in practice.

Lynch was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report, and coach Pete Carroll told reporters that a decision on whether he would play Sunday could come down to game time.

Even if Lynch starts, expect rookie Robert Turbin to get some carries.

The Seahawks named the following players inactive: running back Kregg Lumpkin, cornerback Byron Maxwell, guard John Moffitt, guard James Carpenter, receiver Golden Tate, defensive tackle Jaye Howard and defensive end Greg Scruggs.

Running back Beanie Wells is active for the Cardinals. He was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. The rest of Arizona’s inactives: Ryan Lindley, LaRon Byrd, Greg Toler, William Powell, Jamaal Westerman, Senio Kelemete, Pat McQuistan.
