Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings expects to play tonight against the Seahawks despite a groin injury that has put his status into question.
Jennings, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, told ESPN’s Lisa Salters that he’s still sore but feels good enough to play.
Jennings injured his groin in the opener and missed Green Bay’s Week 2 game, a Thursday night win over Chicago. He practiced Friday and Saturday after missing Thursday’s session. Jennings was listed as questionable.
“I thought Greg looked good today,” coach Mike McCarthy told reporters after watching Jennings practice Saturday. “He made a big jump from earlier in the week. He practiced well.”
McCarthy said Jennings would be a game-time decision, so how he looks during pregame warmups should provide a strong indication as to whether he’ll play.
