Seahawks defensive end Chris Clemons was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday after collecting a career-high four sacks in Monday night’s win over the Packers.
Clemons sacked Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers four times – all in the first half – to tie an NFL record for most in one half. He now has five sacks this season, the third most in the NFL.
Clemons also won the award in Week 11 of last season after collecting three sacks and forcing two fumbles in a win over St. Louis.
