The Seahawks placed 13 players on injured reserve last season, including starters like left tackle Russell Okung, receiver Sidney Rice and cornerback Marcus Trufant.
Only one player, backup receiver Ben Obomanu, has been lost to injury through nine weeks this season, a surprisingly low number given the attrition that is expected in the NFL.
It’s fair to assume the Seahawks’ injury luck will start to run out at some point, if it isn’t already. Thursday’s injury report included eight players.
With that in mind, Dave Grosby and Danny O’Neil discuss a few players who will give the Seahawks depth at key positions down the stretch.
