Richard Sherman fell to the fifth round before the Seahawks chose him with the 154th overall pick in the 2011 draft.
Not that the Seahawks cornerback needs a reminder. He still feels slighted by the teams that passed on him.
“The chip is still sitting their, big as a boulder on the shoulder,” he told Bob Stelton, Dave Grosby and Dave Wyman when he joined “The Huddle” on Thursday. “It’s going to stay there until I’m done playing the game. To my knowledge, every day I wake up I’m still a fifth-round, 23rd pick, 154th overall.”
Bob Stelton and Dave Wyman discuss Sherman’s attitude in the video below.
