The Seahawks have released Evan Moore and signed fellow tight end Sean McGrath from the practice quad, the team announced Tuesday.
Moore’s tenure with Seattle included one catch in 14 games and a few of drops, most notably one that came during a critical moment in a Week 7 loss to San Francisco. The Seahawks signed Moore before their regular-season opener after releasing Kellen Winslow.
McGrath, an undrafted rookie from Henderson State, has spent the first 15 weeks of the season on Seattle’s practice squad.
