Nelson Cruz is not in the starting lineup for the final game of the Mariners’ road trip Sunday at Houston. Cruz is dealing with soreness in his forearm after getting hit by a pitch earlier in the series. He is available to pinch-hit. Dae-Ho Lee replaces him at DH.

Cruz went 1-for-5 in Saturday’s 3-2 win and hasn’t missed a game all season. The Mariners are 5-1 so far on this 7-game road trip through Oakland and Houston. Seattle currently has the second-best record in American League. The last time they led the division at the 30-game mark of the season was 2003.

Game 4 of the series in Houston starts at 11:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle.
