SPONSORED – The thought of PAC-12 football in 2020 seemed like a long shot just a few months ago, but now we are all eagerly anticipating the season kickoff this Saturday, Nov. 7. The teams will play a seven-game, all-conference schedule ending the weekend of Dec. 18 with the PAC-12 Championship Game.
There are three new coaches in the conference in the UW Huskies’ Jimmy Lake, WSU Cougars’ Nick Rolovich and Colorado Buffaloes’ Karl Dorrell. While there will undoubtedly be challenges to being a first time coach in an abbreviated season due to a pandemic, there may also be advantages to having extended time to familiarize players with a new scheme.
In this week’s College Football Insider brought to you by Mac & Jack’s African Amber, 710 ESPN Seattle’s Maura Dooley previews the season openers for UW and WSU. Rolovich will look to keep his Cougars rolling to a seventh consecutive victory over Oregon St and Lake and the Huskies try to snap a two-game losing streak to Cal.
