RENTON – Coach Pete Carroll joked Tuesday that he probably shouldn’t be talking about Seattle’s trade of John Moffitt until the physical examination was completed and signed off.
That actually turned out to be a serious problem as multiple reporters in Cleveland stated the Browns declined to sign off on the deal because of concerns about Moffitt’s health.
With that deal nullified, the Seahawks instead traded Moffitt to Denver in exchange for a different defensive lineman: Sealver Siliga. Siliga was undrafted out of Utah in 2011, signing first with San Francisco and then in October with the Broncos. He appeared in one game for the Broncos last season.
