Nelson Cruz hit his second home run of the season Monday night, a two-run shot in the eighth inning that wasn’t nearly enough to pull the Mariners out of a six-run deficit against Texas.

Cruz’s homer came off Keone Kela, a reliever who attended Chief Sealth High School in West Seattle. Check it out in the video above.

Cruz also had an RBI double, producing all three runs for an offense that hasn’t scored any more than that during the Mariners’ four-game losing streak.
