Will Brandon Browner lose his starting job?

Brandon Browner has what seems to be a somewhat tenuous hold on his job as the Seahawks’ starting right cornerback.
That much became evident after Browner was temporarily benched during Sunday’s win over Tennessee. Coach Pete Carroll said he wanted to give Browner a break after he was beaten twice down the sideline, but the decision also spoke to the talent Seattle has behind Browner.
“We had a great alternative,” Carroll said Monday.
Two of them, actually. Walter Thurmond and Byron Maxwell both saw time in Browner’s absence during the second quarter, and on Monday Carroll said they’re all competing for the starting job.
“We have tremendous depth and tremendous competition at the spots,” Carroll said.
