The Seahawks have added some home-town entertainment to go with their home-field advantage, as hip-hop superstars Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will perform at halftime of Sunday’s NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field.

The Seattle-based duo has owned the charts since its smash album The Heist was released in 2012. The singles “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us” both reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Same Love” and “White Walls” cracked the top 15 of the chart. The album itself reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Digital Albums chart.
Macklemore and Lewis are noted Seattle sports enthusiasts — they have been seen on the sidelines of numerous home Seahawks games this season, and they also performed “My Oh My,” a tribute to late Seattle Mariners broadcaster Dave Niehaus, before a Mariners game at Safeco Field in 2011.
The duo won’t be the only famous Seattle musicians to perform at Sunday’s game, which is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. Ann Wilson, the lead singer of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Heart, will handle the national anthem.
