Jeff Ireland, the former Miami Dolphins general manager, has been hired by the Seahawks as a pre-draft consultant, according to a FOXSports.com report.
Ireland spent six years with the Dolphins before leaving the organization on Jan. 7.
FOX reports the team and Ireland will discuss a possible full-time role after the NFL Draft, which is set for May 8-10.
In Ireland’s time with Miami, the Dolphins made the playoffs just once, and the team’s 2013 season was marred by the Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin bullying scandal.
