The 60-game schedule, which was released Monday afternoon, will begin Friday, July 24 in Houston and end Sunday, September 27 in Oakland. Due to travel concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic, teams are limited to contests in their respective geographic regions, so the Mariners have 40 games against fellow members of the American League West and 20 games against the National League West.
The Mariners comes in at fourth in strength of schedule behind the Marlins, Angels and Orioles.
Seattle will make five road trips in the nine-week season and have just six days off, four of which will come in September. The season will start with a seven-game road trip to Houston and Anaheim, with the home opener falling on July 31 against the A’s.
The majority of Mariners home games will start at 6:10 p.m. or 6:40 p.m. There are a few weekday games that will start before 6:10 to accommodate travel for the visiting team. All Sunday home games start at 1:10 p.m.
Until further notice, there will be no fans at T-Mobile Park.
All 2020 Mariners games will be broadcast live on 710 ESPN Seattle. Coverage will begin with the pregame show at least an hour before first pitch.
Start circling those dates. 📆
