Video: Mariners’ Dae-Ho Lee hits his first homer of spring training

Shannon Drayer mentioned in her notebook on Saturday that slugger Dae-Ho Lee will need to make the most of what could be limited opportunities against lefties this spring as he competes to be the right-handed half of the Mariners’ platoon at first base.

Lee helped his case Monday with a home run off Diamondbacks left-hander Matt Reynolds, one of the highlights of the Mariners’ 10-8 loss to Arizona. It was Lee’s first home run of the spring, and as you can see in the video above, it was a no-doubter.

Lee went 1 for 2 on Monday and is 2 for 5 since making his Cactus League debut on Saturday.
