RENTON – Linebacker Heath Farwell and cornerback A.J. Jefferson were placed on injured reserve as the Seahawks made seven roster moves Tuesday to reach the league-mandated limit of 75.
Defensive tackle Michael Brooks, wide receiver David Gilreath and linebacker Horace Miller were waived with injury designations. Along with Farwell and Jefferson, guard C.J. Davis was placed on injured reserve, and rookie cornerback Eric Pinkins was placed on the non-football injury list.
Farwell injured his groin in Seattle’s most recent preseason game, while Jefferson sprained his ankle in the preseason opener.
Seattle had to make seven more cuts after parting ways with eight players on Monday. Rosters must be reduced to 53 by Saturday afternoon.
