The Seahawks have acquired cornerback Marcus Burley from the Colts in exchange for a sixth-round pick in next year’s draft.
The Colts announced the move this afternoon, about 40 minutes before the 1 p.m. deadline for NFL teams to trim their rosters to 53.
Burley, 24, is listed at 5 foot 10 and 189 pounds. He was undrafted out of Delaware in 2013 and spent his rookie season on the practice squad with four different teams – Jacksonville, Philadelphia, St. Louis and Indianapolis.
The Seahawks have not announced their final roster, but cornerback Phillip Adams is reportedly among the team’s cuts.
According to 710 ESPN Seattle’s Danny O’Neil, the Seahawks have also cut linebacker Korey Toomer and defensive end Benson Mayowa. Quarterback Terrelle Pryor and right tackle Eric Winston are reportedly among the other players Seattle has cut.
