Seeing Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton throw a 12 flag on the turf after the Seahawks were eliminated from the playoffs on Jan. 17 added salt to the wound.
One fan isn’t letting it go.

A petition was started to ban Cam Newton from CenturyLink Field. The Seattle resident that started the petition argues that Newton is “one of the most unprofessional, unsportsmanlike individual on the face of the planet.”
The petition calls to ban Newton from the Seattle stadium from 2016-2017.
“This should teach him to put his arrogance in check!!”
The petition had 796 signatures Tuesday morning.
This isn’t the first petition by 12s, as Seahawks fans have also attempted to keep Fox announcers Joe Buck and Troy Aikman from calling Seattle football games. The Newton petition, however, takes the cake for 710 ESPN Seattle’s Mike Salk.
