The Seahawks are heading into Week 2 with one win in the books, but they’ll be facing a hostile Pittsburgh Steelers team on Sunday that will be looking to bounce back from a 33-3 loss to the New England Patriots.

Moore: Seahawks’ Rashaad Penny shouldn’t get carries over C.J. Prosise

Despite its season-opening win, Seattle will enter the game with a few questions on both sides of the ball. Below, Brock Huard of 710 ESPN Seattle’s Brock and Salk highlights five Seahawks who need a stronger outing this time around.

5. LB K.J. Wright

“Played very little this preseason, did very little work the entire OTA season. Was frankly surprised he was signed back here. And what did the market say to K.J.? What did the tape say to the market about K.J. Wright? It said, well, an injury history, great in that system and a terrific guy, but we’re not willing to pay him what the Seahawks ultimately did basically on a one-year deal.”

4. RT Germain Ifedi

“Germain didn’t play great (against Cincinnati). Germain had a Pro Football Focus grade of 50. Germain had a holding call. There was some leakage that you’re not used to seeing. He had a tough time with (Sam) Hubbard, the defensive end. And in this division and this league, you’re going to have tough D-ends and tough D-tackles seemingly every week. George Fant got some snaps at tight end. I said this in the offseason – as you project it and you move it ahead, they didn’t pick up the fifth-year option on Ifedi, so is there going to be a time when it’s like, hey, you need to keep playing well, or does George Fant start to get a bit of a look?”

3. C Justin Britt

“They believe they’ve got three starting centers down there. Unfortunately one of them has got a high ankle injury. … He is a terrific player, he is stout, he’s a guy they love, he had a tremendous preseason before he got hurt. Justin Britt’s gotta continue to play a whole lot better than what he did over the weekend.”

2. WR Jaron Brown

“Some of this is not Jaron’s fault. Some of this is just the ball doesn’t find him, they don’t throw it a lot. But it was very easy to notice when they got in the three by one sets who was opposite that three set, and that would’ve been DK Metcalf. Running the slant, running the go route… Jaron’s gotta start performing.”

1. S Tedric Thompson

“I think Tedric is going to get the start because he knows the system, he’s available in the system, he’s been in the system. Lano Hill missed the whole offseason. Lano also projects as more of the strong safety, and I think McDougald likes to play a bit more of strong safety.”
