The Seahawks have waived tight end Chase Coffman, leaving them with two opennings on their 53-man roster after the release of cornerback Cary Williams on Monday.
Coffman was signed last week, giving Seattle a third tight end after the team placed Jimmy Graham on injured reserve. Coffman was inactive for Sunday’s game against Minnesota.
Williams cleared waivers and is now a free agent.
Seattle also released wide receiver Deshon Foxx from its practice squad. ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported Tuesday that the team signed another wide receiver, Antwan Goodley, to its practice squad.
